Anna’s is expanding – new factory in Canada

On 1 March 2002, Anna’s officially opened its new bakery in High River, a small community around 50 km south of Calgary. More than 50 % of those 3,000 tonnes of cookies produced by Anna’s are exported, and the US market accounts for about 20 % of this. The new bakery will bring Anna’s physically closer to the US-market and shorten our delivery times. Local production also helps us eliminate future embargoes and other trade barriers. The workforce will initially be 5-8 persons.
